OPENING
The
Chairman welcomed all to the meeting and thanked members of the executive
committee and all volunteers who assisted in planning and organizing PAC events
07-08, such as the Henry Shield Relay Race, The Cross Country Championship, the
Dowman
Road Race, the Police Athletic Championships, the Stnadard Chartered Hong Kong
Marathon and PAC Distance Run Training. Chairman also expressed his appreciation
to all PAC contestants who had participated in different sporting events in the
past year and made outstanding achievements.
2. The
Chairman also took the opportunity to thank the Webmaster in the professional management
of the PAC website.
3. The
minutes of AGM 2007 were confirmed unanimously with no amendment.
THE
TREASURER’S REPORT
---------
4. The Treasurer
tabled the treasurer’s report as at Annex ‘B’
and was endorsed by the committee. The current asset of the club as at
2008-03-31 was HK$108,854.78.
5. The
Chairman, representing the Club, thanked the Treasurer for her years of
contribution to Police Athletics Club.
Without her treasury support, the Club’s financial status and accounting
process would not have been so healthy and smooth. The Club wished her every success in her
new posting.

ENDORSEMENT
OF CONSTITUTION AMENDMENTS
7. The
meeting unanimously endorsed the amendment of constitution, which resulted in
the addition of three new posts, namely Publicity Manager, Assistant Publicity
Manager and Administration and Records Manager. A copy of the constitution is at Annex ‘C’
.

8. As a quorum of over 30 members was present at the
